Aaron Hinojosa has a strong execution track record with global operating experience in the automotive, data services and P&C insurance industries as well as investment banking experience at JP Morgan focused on technology and media M&A and debt and equity capital raising.
Aaron served as the Chief of Staff to the founder, Chairman and CEO of Solera Holdings, the leading global provider of automotive data, software and services. In this role, Aaron had extensive experience in executing business development initiatives with our global automotive and P&C insurance partners as well as working with local management teams to drive operational effectiveness, revenue and profitability. In addition, Aaron took a leading role in crafting the company’s messaging and information flow to investors and in executing Solera’s capital market transactions including term loan and bond refinancings. Prior to this role, as Director of Corporate Development, Aaron worked closely with local management in identifying the best positioned players in the market and helped execute key strategic deals in Western Europe. Prior to Solera, Aaron executed technology and media M&A and equity and debt financings in the investment bank at JP Morgan.
Aaron is a mentor at Station Houston, a start-up ecosystem and venture fund, and its predecessor SURGE Ventures, an accelerator focused on emerging energy-related technology companies. Aaron holds an A.B. degree from Harvard University and a MBA in Finance and Strategy from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
